Forklift Design
During my Sophomore year of college, I participated in a robot contest lead by the Mechanical Engineer department. This contest tested the student's ability to design and prototype a fully functioning robot. My team consisted of three people, and we used SOLIDWORKS to design our project and used acrylic to fabricate our design. The goal of the competition was to score a hacky-sack into an opponent's basket that was separated by a wall. The design we used was based off a forklift, using a winch motor system and string to lift the forks up and down the tower base
