Remote Control Car
History
The reason I started working on this project was to increase my knowledge on Arduino microcontrollers, DC motor controllers, soldering electronics, building circuits and to improve my engineering skills by working on a multi-layered project. This project was constructed in multiple steps:
First ideation, coming up with what I wanted to create, and researching how Arduino's worked and finding out what electronic components I needed to buy.
Then came the design part, building a chassis and top cover in SolidWorks and building circuit diagrams.
Last, was the prototype and building stage where I 3D-printed my design and put everything together, then tested everything making sure that the controller was able to communicate with the car and properly execute the functions.
My next goal is to build a version 2 of this car design with a more complex body design with a full suspension system that will run on one single motor and have a driveshaft and differential to help transfer and regulate power throughout the car's wheels. Also I want to work on having more organized use of wire, so it can look much cleaner.
